The Medication Dispensing Service provides for the flexible dispensing of medications with complex or complicated regimens. It also gives you or your loved ones peace of mind knowing that you’re taking all of your medications as you were directed to take them. The dispensing unit can hold up to six doses of medicine per day and dispenses up to 60 cups. It will accommodate from one to 40 days of medication. The unit is equipped to send reminder alerts with instructions on taking medications. It is also equipped to send reminder alerts for non-pill medications.
How The Medication Dispensing Service Works
Our Medication Dispensing Service is a purpose-built product designed to meet your needs. Often times, many people, most importantly, seniors, have to take a lot of medications and it’s easy to become confused or worried about what you have to take and when. The Medication Dispenser takes away that confusion and worry for you. Here’s how it works:
Step 1. Load The Dispenser
You or your caregiver can put your medications into individual cups and load them into the dispenser. We will help you with scheduling dose times and will program the dispenser for you.
Step 2. Dispense The Medication
As soon as you hear the reminder, press the button. The dispenser will dispense the medication that you or your caregiver have loaded and it will be dispensed at the pre-programmed time.
Step 3. Alert Family Members & Caregivers
Because the dispenser is connected to your telephone line, if you miss a dose, the dispenser can call you or a family member or your caregiver to remind you to take your medication.
